French Dip Sandwiches

Another great Crock Pot recipe!

This is a great recipe and effortless at that. You can modify this recipe by adding sauteed peppers and onions and make this a Philly cheese steak.

Ingredients:
1 beef roast (3 to 4 lbs.)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 loaf french bread

prep:
-sear all sides of meat in skillet
-transfer to crock pot

-combine soy sauce, bouillon, and spices
-pour over roast

-add water to almost cover roast

- cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours
- remove meat from broth (reserving liquid)
- shred meat with fork
- place on french bread, add cheese
- turn broiler on and melt cheese

- place with reserved liquid, which is now your Au Jus.
