We first read this in the 60″s The hippie generation tried to live by it (some of them) My husband did live by it. It was in a frame at our bedside for all these years. He recently died and our son has asked for the framed copy as a memory of his Father,to try to live by, and to instill in his children. More people on the planet should do follow the poems message..

my brother use too read this too me when i was very young and i listen to it on the radio all the time back in costa rica i forget sometimes how powerful and beatiful it’s i will readed it to my kids for now on it’s truly an inspiration !!

There are some wonderous works that by reading them you leave knowing that you felt this, deep inside, but could not group the words together as well. I have read these words at different times thoughout my life, and always felt so moved after reading them. Is should be in every home and classroom.
